Hike-n-Draw
Purposely

| Diablo View: MacDonald Trail, Chabot Regional Park |
Ten weeks of feeling like garbage, with a cold that proceeded to bronchitis, pulling a stomach muscle while hacking away. The feeling that I was never going to truly recover, with the few false starts towards that hope, I decided to use the time differently. From active to invalid, to thinking about what I do, how I am, what, if anything I would look forward to.
Thankfully I got well enough for a visit from Stephanie, my longest time friend, sister even. We did all the things we love most, visiting art museums and galleries, walking everywhere downtown SF and some of the hills of the East Bay Regional Parks. Just what I needed. The reset button!

Rich’s Boys 2012
Alice’s interpretation
#Procreate
Rich loved photography, and his boys.
These photos were on the card in his Nikon. The last shots he took. 10 photos.
Joel helped me download the pics from the card when I thought I might take the Nikon to Anza Borrego Desert in February. It has been almost 6 years and the Nikon was still feeling like a hot potato. A very heavy and complicated hot potato.
As soon as I saw the pics of the boys I knew what I wanted to do. And here is my collage...
